The enquiry form sends me your name, your email address, the service line you selected, an optional topic, an optional phone number, and your message. Nothing on that form is collected unless you press send.

The server records the IP address of a form submission briefly in memory to limit how often the same source can submit. It is not written to a database and does not survive a restart.

The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds nothing from third parties other than the fonts described below.

Your enquiry is used to answer you and, if we go on to work together, to carry out that work. Ellery is established in the United Arab Emirates and handles personal data under UAE law, in particular Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., which processes the technical request data any web server sees, including IP address and browser type.

Form submissions are delivered by email through Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc. Your message passes through their systems on its way to my inbox.

Fonts are served from this site rather than from Google, so no request is made to Google when you open a page.

Nobody else receives your data. It is not sold, shared or used for advertising.

Enquiries stay in my email for as long as the working relationship and the legal record-keeping periods that apply to it require, and are deleted afterwards.

You can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask for it in a portable form, or object to it being processed. Write to michelle@ellery.ae and I will answer within a month.

If you are not satisfied with how I handle a request, you may raise it with the UAE Data Office, which supervises personal data protection in the United Arab Emirates.
